Born in Istanbul in 1957, Gülüm Bağcı began her professional career in the textile industry as a collection manager. In 1997, she founded her own company, ESTET, specializing in exclusive corporate gifts and offering creative consultancy to artists. After concluding her business career, she pursued a new passion in botanical illustration. She currently contributes as a volunteer in the organization team of BİRET (Botanical Illustrators Committee).
